    I don't think so. from the little I know the mounts are in the wrong place. The scope is worth the bid so far. Jay

    I don't recall seeing a model 67 that has its rear scope base forward of the chamber with the proof mark centered on top of the barrel in its usual location. I have seen the proof mark moved forward of the rear base and centered on top of the barrel, or, of course, offset to the left side of the barrel for factory scoped rifles. Winchester would and did scope rifles in most all calibers and models from the turn of the century on, and especially during the1920s forward despite what one might read or hear to the contrary. However, it's my opinion that collectors of these types of rifles generally agree that the most important indicator of a factory scoped piece starts with the "relocated" proof mark.

    Added: Quite a few different models have the WP stamped on the bolt.

    The first thing that really bothers me is the proof mark stamp on the bolt. Winchester did not stamp a proof mark on the bolt... somebody else did that after the fact[V] The proof mark stamp on the receiver should be on the forward end of the frame ring, not the rear as it is on that rifle. I suspect that the rifle is not factory original.

    Bert~ I just double checked my Model 60.. It does have that same proof on the bolt.. The barrel proof is also in the same position.. They don't have "Receivers ", just the barrel..

    OK... that is something I did not know (the proof mark on the bolt)[:I]. I will have to look more closely at them in the future.

    On the serious side, I've only seen this on the models that don't have the screw in barrels. I'm not aware if it was stamped on the Model 41 shotgun, but it was applied to the Model 36.
