ID this weapon

Can anybody ID the weapon this soldier is holding. I'm thinking its some kind of teargas/rubber bullet type launcher.Don't stare at the girl's breasts too long. I need this answer today.

  You have to go down to the third photo at the bottom of page. it is a police officer not a soldier.

  The bolt handle and protruding magazine have a distinct resemblance to the Swiss model G31 military rifle. Perhaps it's possible that surplus G 31's were reworked?

  I agree. But its way too short to be G-31 and what about the other end of the weapon. It appears to have much too large a bore 30mm-plus than any rifle. Between the barrell and the receiver is a large round dial. I thought it might be a gas powered grenade/smoke launcher with the gas controlled by this dial.

  My second thought was modified straight pull. Maybe a beanbag gun.

  I'm tending to go with rufe-snow. it looks like they took some old G31 rifle actions and restocked and rebarreled them. Possibly shoots blanks that propel gas grenades or bean bags as charlie suggested.

  Rubber bullets or bean bags, or gas pellets. Or all the previous. It definitely looks like a less-than-lethal platform. My first thought (well second actually) was the ring at the rear of the action and the bolt handle sure make that look like a K-31.
  
  I was beginning to think this was a reverse of the usual hoax.
