Hello,
Could someone please explain the difference between the sako actions? Which is best and why?
For Example: in 30-06
AIII vs. L61R vs. AV etc
Also, what happened in 1972 to make the pre-72 rifles better and what is the signifigance of bofors steel?
Would also like to get in touch with collector(s) and dealer(s) who have access to these older rifles.
Thanks,

I would guess that any Sako AV would sell for at least $800 in reasonably good shape. 0 -
We need pictures and/or more information. Is it the deluxe version (stock will have pistol grip cap and forend piece), with scope, rings? Condition, as always, makes a lot of difference. $800 might be right, or could be too low by $400 or too high. I've seen Sako deluxe rifles go for as little as $400 (with blue worn and stock dings) to $1200+ for pristine versions. 0
