I didn't read the links, but heard this topic on the radio this morning in truck. They said 30 rounds/sec and could direct the bullet after impact and was about 3-4" long.

Pretty much sums up what parts I caught.

Very interesting. Wonder how much a round will cost? Any bets how long until the second generation is a heat seaker?

Just like the 'bullet boxes' that, thankfully, went away. Too much money on too little REAL capability. I would surely be pleased if the U.S. Military would spend just 1/50th of this money on a real sniper round instead of wasting it on this BS![:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]

No, I'm not bitter watching stupid 'Pet Rock' projects like this get funded when a simple upgrade would equip us a lot better in the meantime.[}:)][}:)]

Seem to have more in common with guided missiles than with our traditional bullets. [:0]

Eyes in front, fins, correctable flight, tracking, etc. - like mini-missiles! ( Shades of Me and Mini-Me! ) [;)]

I have attempted, so far unsuccessfully to find more technical information regarding this item. Each story found is a rehash of the same info and photos, so far. [V]
