correct countersink?

Which countersink is correct for the Remington stock screw? The 100 degree or 82 degree?

  Just in case you don't get an answer you could take three measurements with a dial caliper. Diameter of top and bottom of the cone and the distance between the two.

  Stock 700's use a 100 degree stock screw, unless it's been pillar bedded and then 82 degree allen head screws are usually used..
