rem model 100 question

Did Remington make a model 100A single shot 22. There is a for sale ad on a local classified site and it has picture on the rifle but I can not find anything in the books. Emailed the guy to make sure it said Remington on it and not Marlin and he says it is marked Remington. Doesn't look like a 514 either looks more like the Marlin I had. To far to drive just to look and not be what he says, any help would be appreciated......................gumby

  My guess is the guy mis-read it.. Could be Western Auto's "Revelation" " model 100A..
