Rusted tight breech plug

Hello
It's a Connecticut Valley Bobcat sidelock and it's badly rusted.
What process will loosen the plug up so I can remove it?

Buy a can of Kroil, and soak the breech plug with it (from both sides).

+1 on Kroil. Every few hours tap the plug with a brass or plastic mallet to shake some of the fluid further into the threads. Be patient and let this stuff work. You will want to do this outside or in the garage it doesn't smell real good.

3 for kroil. Muriatic acid will work but its alot more nasty to use.

Verify no charge in the hole. Propane torch to heat bbl, set plug on ice. Proper fitting blocks to hold bbl in bench mounted vice, a proper fitted wrench, swat with 3# lead hammer. Never tried acid, and what is mouse milk? Moose Milk.

If it's a CVA caplock, the drum is threaded through the breechplug, acting as a locking crossbolt and will have to be removed prior to the breechplug going anywhere.
