Stoeger LUGER
Not to hijack the other Luger thread: My Stoeger .22 is real steel and real blue. I just stuck a magnet on it and it sticks on all parts. Serial #67375.
Now I have not shot it much and with the cheep 22 ammo I used, it jammed a lot. I will get it out maybe tomorrow, with some hot ammo and see how it does. Will report on it later. Tom

I have a Stoeger "American Eagle" Luger 9mm unfired condition.
Can anyone tell me what it is worth?
Thanks

Stoegers were made with both steel and aluminum alloy frames. Aluminum more common, 1969-1986. Steel 1980-1986.. 0 -
Different subcontractors actually made the pistol for Stoeger. The early production ones had aluminum frames, the later ones were steel castings.
They are ammo and magazine sensitive. Use Mini-Mag solids or Winchester Super X solids. Also make sure to the best of your ability that the magazine is functional and the pistol is clean and lubricated.0
