  PPS 43? Are you discussing a Tokarev, a ViS 35, or a P-64? Perhaps a P-83? There are some PPS 43 "pistols" based on the old submachine gun of the same name, and if so, they're probably fairly reliable, but I doubt if any of them is actually a "Radom".

  He's talking about this thing Jim. Inter Ordnance has it made at the old Radom factory in Poland. It's imported and sold in the States as a non selective fire semi-auto pistol. The folding stock is welded in the closed position.
  
  
  
  
  J & G had one on display at one of our local shows. It must weigh 7 lbs easy. Picking it up, it handles like a boat anchor. Calling it a pistol is a joke, it has the ergonomics of a blacksmiths anvil.

  I have one, bought it on a whim because I'm in CA and wanted something cheap and evil looking. Not sure what to make of it, the thing is simple as heck and rattles like a can with a rock inside. I would say the way to shoot it is from the hip for fun and saying "who the hell cares what I hit" or to attach a shoulder strap to the rear sling point and bring it eye level. The mags hold about 35 rounds each and are solid as heck.
  
  There's nothing approaching quality workmanship on the gun, it seems to me their QC department comes to work from time to time, perhaps the folks who work on the disconnector could stand to put in a few more hours. The safetyis hard as hell to operate and there's no bolt hold open on the thing. A very spartan set up.

  I like mine. Had to clean it and do some minor milling to one ill-fitting catch.

  Buy one. It's fun. $269-$289 is about what you should pay.
