Remington 1100 20ga

Hi does anyone know where I can find a barrel (SLUG) for a 1100 20ga mag made in 1975? Any help will be great Thanks Mike

  try cabela's online i was there earlier and saw reg barrels for 1100 dont know if they have slug ones.
  
  Just wondering why you need a "slug" barrel? slug barrels are for sabot rounds only. smooth bore for rifled slugs.
  
  and idk what if you are wanting a "rifled" barrel but it is my understanding that remy did not ever make them for the 20ga I may be wrong on that tho

  In 1975 it is probably a standard weight. Slug barrels for the standard 20 ga are far and few between.

  Took me 5 years trying to find a slug barrel for my 1100 20ga Standard frame. I got it cheap because the seller had no idea what it was. They'll go from $350 to $475 depending on condition, and they were only made in 2.75" chambers.
  Corson has one listed for $350, if he still has it.

  Found out that they made smooth bore an Hastings made barrels for remington just dont know where to find????

  Most shotgun slug barrels (smoothbore, not rifled) are cylinder choke. Any plain barrel with cylinder choke, or other fixed choke barrel shortened to behind the choke, can have Remington rifle sights added to make it a "slug barrel".

  The barrels from 75 are different than the ones out today. I have a similar gun, its a lightweight and the barrel "shank" is different.

  I have one but Im not sure of the year, and what it is for, lightweight or standard. How do you tell?

  The 1st 1100 20 Ga. was found on the 12 Ga. frame the barrel is marked 20 Ga. no other designation...Gas ring fits over the 12 Ga. mag. tube....ejector is found on the barrel extension
  
  The next was the 20 Ga. "LW" marked on the barrel as such, short barrel extension ,somewhat akin to the 870's... the ejector is found attached to the inside ,left side of the receiver wall..
  
  The last, and current 20 Ga.is the "LT"...marked on the barrel..The barrel extension was returned to the longer length akin to the current 1100 & 1187..the ejector was also returned to the barrel extension...
