M57 Tokarev grip panels
Does anyone know how to keep the grip panels on an M57 Tokarev from losening? I've got one of the Yugo models and love the pistol but the original grip panels were always loose enough that they moved under my hand. I recently bought a custom wood set and, while better than the originals, they still slide under my grip. The system of how the grips attach seems poor to start with but I was wondering if anyone had found a solution to this.
Thanks in advance.

Providing the flat spring grip retainers aren't bent you may be able to tighten up the rivets using a center punch on the inside of the grip.
I believe inletting of your grips may have removed too much plastic, allowing the grips to shift around. You might use JB Weld to fill in the gaps and file carefully for a tight fit up and down and forward & rearward.
I have a number of TT33s and fire heavy SMG 9mm and 7.62x25 out of them without grips loosening up so they don't loosen if plastic is closely fitted to metal.0 -

Not to the frame, to the flat spring grip retainers.0
