New 97 problem
So I broke the gun down to adjust the collar but I can not get the threaded part to turn.
Is there something that I am missing to get the threaded part to turn? I already removed the screw and part that lock the collar in but the threaded part still won't budge.
At this point any suggestions would help. I am trying to avoid a gunsmith (not much extra money in the budget) so any ideas that I can use would be appreciated. If there is nothing I can do so be it just trying to avoid spending the extra money.
Edit: The gun has a wobble in the middle when it is put together. Which way do I turn it to remove the wobble and/or how do I know when I have run out of adjustment and need to buy new "collar" for lack of a better word?

Dumb question. You trying to turn it in or out? If you are trying to turn it in it may be in all the way. They made something like 5 sizes as my cloudy mind recalls. The extreme ones are harder to find then the normal ones.
Can not remember if the 97 had 1 or 2 notches in them for adjustment. Either the 12 or the 97 had the 2 notches. If it is stuck, other then the post of the oil referenced you may need to make a spanner with the correct notch to get it out. If it only has 1 notch then you will need an insert to center the spanner.0 -

My mistake. Confused the chamber ring and the 1 or 2 spots for the lock screws (mod 12/mod97) with the bushing.0
