Dumb question. You trying to turn it in or out? If you are trying to turn it in it may be in all the way. They made something like 5 sizes as my cloudy mind recalls. The extreme ones are harder to find then the normal ones.

Can not remember if the 97 had 1 or 2 notches in them for adjustment. Either the 12 or the 97 had the 2 notches. If it is stuck, other then the post of the oil referenced you may need to make a spanner with the correct notch to get it out. If it only has 1 notch then you will need an insert to center the spanner.

"They made something like 5 sizes as my cloudy mind recalls. ......7 ACTUALY, THERE ARE NO NOTCHES FOR A SPANNER. WHEN CLEAN THEY WILL TURN BY FINGER PRESSURE. AFTER NEAR 100 YRS OF 'GUNK' PENETRATING OIL AND HEAT (WARM ONLY) MAY BE NEEDED.

My mistake. Confused the chamber ring and the 1 or 2 spots for the lock screws (mod 12/mod97) with the bushing.
