Savage scope base?

I am wanting a picatinny scope base for a short action non-accu-trigger 308. I think this would be the flat back; is that correct? I think my Vortex scope has enough travel to allow for a 0 MOA base. Does anyone other than Warne (very expensive) make such a critter?

  Most economical would be from Evolution Gunworks @ $40.

  The very best ones come from Badger, and are solid steel. Nightforce also has them. Go to Midway USA, as they have several.
  
  What Vortex scope do you have and what distance are you planning on shooting? A 0 MOA base will get you to 800 yards, and you will need a 10 or 20 to go beyond that.

  I have a viper and a crossfire. 500 yds or so should cover it. At least to start out.
