7.62x39 to much for AR six point stock to handle
I am new the broads and finish building my fist [8D] car 15 rifle about sometime ago and now in middle of building an 20" 7.62x39 barrel for it. I would like to know from the AR experts if my car stock will handle abuse of the 7.62x39 calber

If they can handle the 7.62x51/.308, .458 SOCOM and .450 Bushmaster they can handle the 7.62x39. You might just want to add a heavier duty buffer. 0 -
I wouldn't consider the 7.62x39 recoil to be "abusive". One of the elcheapo stocks might fail but I don't think a good quality stock will have any problem with the 7.62. 0 -

Should be fine.
While it has more momentum than .223, 7.62x39 isn't exactly an "abusive" caliber. It the stock fails from that, it was crap anyway.0 -
the stock in an DPMS one[:)], And thanks to all that replied with info[:D]
I try to post picture of it when complete0 -
A friend of mine once bent the locking pin in a collapsible AR stock but only after pounding the butt on asphalt trying to clear a stuck bolt. Your stock will have no trouble with the 7.62X39. 0
