Lake City M2 Ball question

Is this 30/06 ammo?
Is it suitable to shoot in my Winchester Model 70 30/06 rifle?

It 1960's era and in good shape, but dosen't say 30/06 on the packaging. (brown paper box, sealed primers.)

I'm just interested in reloading the cases anyway.

Can you provide any more information?

  M2 ball is 30-06.

  I have some LC68. It's pretty slow. It averages 2560 fps over my chronograph screens. It has a very heavy primer crimp. But, yes, you can shoot it in your Winchester and it would not carry a .30/06 headstamp.
