what that tells you is IT IN REAL GOOD SHAPE

it is worth 1cent to 100,000 dollars[;)]

Welcome to the forum. Condition is the most important factor in determining value. This is generally expressed in percentage of original finish remaining and originality of all parts. The experts here can and are willing to give you help but they must know condition. If you can't post photos, go to gunbroker.com auction site and do a search for Colt DA .38 for sale. Ignore the pie in the sky minimum bids. What counts is to see what someone has bid for a similar pistol.
