Are Super red hawk barrels threaded into the frame are a type of press fit?

edit: thanks i figured so. the reason i'm asking is i was shooting it a 454 casull sunday all was fine then seems the cylinder got tigther aand tighter. now there is to cyl.gap at all and very very hard to cock at all. nothing visiblely looks bent are out of orndinary except the i,ll call it the back of the barrel. forcing cone end seems to have a very sharp edge to it around the circumference. crane looks fine,cyl spins free when open.

  They are threaded into the frame. I don't know of one that is press fit that is made in the USA. I do know of some where the barrel is part of the frame.

  I have some s&w' s with a very tight B/C gap. Accuracy is fantastic and velocity is more than with a different gun with a wider gap and same loads. This is only a problem when target shooting a large amount of rounds. I suggest you be happy about this and clean this area (cylinder face and rear of barrel) with hoppes a little more often when shooting at the range.
