Contacting T/C?; Are they home?
E-mails are returned; phone rings 15 minutes. No answer.
I'm supposed to ask them a parts question and no one is there
Any one else have an idea what's going on?

I just called the T/C Customer Support Center and had no problems getting an answer. Must have been a transient glitch.
Phone: 1-866-730-1614
Email: tca_customerservice@tcarms.com0 -
that's the # that rings 15 minutes; no answer 0 -
It is hit and miss with getting an answer on the phone. I wanted to get a new sight for all things, a new Triumph, where the front sight got dropped on a rock. They said it is out of stock. Since they got taken over by S&W Holdings, they too, have started a slide.

EDIT 1
Here is the link to the warranty section of Thompson Center products:
http://www.tcarms.com/customerService/warranty_details.php
In order to qualify for warranty to the original owner, the warranty card, or on-line registration must be filled out within 30 days of purchase of said product.
This sort of shows they are not what they used to be, and what we are accustomed to.
andrewsw16,
Calling and recieving an answering machine on the second ring does not count. Three weeks ago I sat on the line for over 20 minutes trying to talk to a person. Their automated answering system SUCKS, and I have been disconnected from it several times, and hung up after 15 minutes several times. From dealing with Thompson Center for the last 30 years, I can certainly tell you that the last 3 or 4 years are not the same as before.

I called twice this morning and it was answered by the second ring both times. [:)] 0 -
they were bought out by smith and wesson, my last two experiences were both bad, no knowledge of muzzleloaders and no straight answers, was told they no longer uphold the lifetime warranty on there muzzleloaders......[:(!] they had no idea of when if ever they would have parts to ship, hope you have better luck 0 -
They are right up the road from me,
mebbe 40 mins .In the past ,I've
had excellent service from them,
free replacement parts,they did
an "easy open" job on my old contender
and fitted 4 barrels to it for no
cost.
I sent them an email last November
and never got a reply and have phoned
them a few times without answer.
Something has changed.

Savage Arms is also very depressing and not user friiendly and their customer service sucks big air! Wonder if they are associated with S&W or maybe have the same PR staff![:(]0 -
T/C went from a company owned by gun guys to a company run by bean counters . Ergo , quality and customer service have gone to hell in a handbasket . The Omega I bought 5 years ago is the last T/C product I'll ever buy . I hate bean counters ! 0 -

I have a renegade flintlock, the frizzen was worn out, this is supposed to be covered under the lifetime warranty, they told me on the phone no rifle built before 1984 would be covered, they asked me if I knew how old mine was, I said no but was going to give them the serial # to check the age, they told me they had no way to cross the # to the year produced, and if they did they had 42 people waiting on frizzens on backorder and were not producing them anymore...[xx(]0 -
