Ruger 44 mag carbine

I have a Ruger 44 Mag Carbine that jams and won't eject the shells. It was sent to Ruger and they don't make the part it needs anymore. I would like to know what part would it have been and does anyone have any suggestions on how we may fix it.

  I recently picked up an old model Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine mfg in 1970. Does anyone know if it is safe to fire max SAMMI ammo such as Buffalo Bore's Heavy 44 Magnum +P+ (340 gr. LBT-LFN GC . (1478 fps / M.E. 1649 ft. lbs.)in this rifle?

  Yes, the old model was tube feed and was discontinued in the early 80s.
  
  The new version was made for a few years recently and is more mini-14 like w/ a detachable mag.
