Scanoe repair

I have an old Coleman Scanoe with several vertical cracks where the seats mount to the body. I tried Marine JB Weld but it didn't hold. Any ideas on a fix?

  I'm not sure what the Scanoe is made out of, but could you fiberglass it?

  The coleman scanoe is similar to its canoe. Made of a thick vinyl.
  Check with www.coleman.com for a recommended patch.
