Browning Challenger barrel interchange

Will a barrel form a Browning Challenger 22 cal model II or III fit the earlier Browning made Challenger? I have found some of the later barrels for sale, but not the earlier ones?
Thanks in advance for any info.

  You might want to go to GUN-PARTS INC and look at the parts list for both and see if the barrels are the same part number.
