Bayonet I.D.

With "a little help from my friends" I've come up with a tentative I.D. on my two bayonets: one looks like it fits a Krag Jorgensen?, the other perhaps a 1917?
I'll try to post some pictures.
O.K. Picture posting isn't working and there's a good game on.
I'd be glad to email some good pictures if someone has the time to look at them.

  Does the 1917 have the ordanance mark on it? Bomb looking thing, the blade should be about 16 inches long or so. If its a real and not imitation its worth a bit of money. Good luck with it.

  The one I think may be a 1917 has a 16 1/2 blade, stamped "1917" and a Circle with a "W" in the middle on one side of the hilt and the ordinance bomb, "U.S." and an "X" on the other.
  Still struggling with the pics but have some good ones I can easily send via email if you're interested.

  Thats a Winchester model, sounds right, do you have the scabbard with it?

  Sounds like a nice Winchester bayonet. I have a Remington for my trench gun (97 model), and would like a WInchester bayonet. If you intend on putting the bayinet on the auction side, please let me know.

  I do plan to list it, likely within the next day or two. Just wanted to have some idea of how to correctly label it.

  Spider, Since no one had bid on the second blade, I was able to amend as you suggested. Thank you very much. With a bid on the 1917 I was unable to change the heading line to reflect what it appears is definitely a Winchester bayonet. I was able to add a note to that effect in the body of the description.
