Colt stamped Govt. Mod. magazines

I have quite a few, but some are stamped " Colt .45 auto" in 2 lines, and others have the pony on the left, or the front of the floorplate, and an "M" stamped on the right.
Is this a "Match" mag, or just a different style of marking?
Just curious.

  The M is the contractors ID. Colt hasn't made their own mags for > 50 years. There are many variations in mags for every model, & floor plate markings also vary.

  The "M" indicates a magazine made by Metalform.
