Lake City Ammunition Plant Video

It's always fun to see the manufacturing processes for some of the products that we use in our hobbies or work. Here is a video about the Lake City Ammunition plant. Yes it's a promotional video so you might not run into all of the smiling faces every day... They weren't smiling after the fire last year or the year before when 3 of the 4- 5.56mm lines went down...

Take a minute to run through the video since we taxpayers most likely paid for it, knowing ATK.

  Way too cool. Never got to try their 20mm but have shot lots of their other fine products!

  I have a book on the history of the lake city plant it was originally built by Remington in 1941 my grandmother worked there during WWII

  Looking at it from a manufacturer'ws standpoint, I can see a lot of old equipment. I see some new, and new processes, but there looks to be a lot of old, in what they show, that keeps begging for mercy.
  
  I take that from the play book of experience, as the plant/company for which I work is 125 years old this year. I still work on some instrumentation from the 1930's.
