Ayers binoculars

Found an old Ayers binocular 7x50 7.1 deg made in Japan. They have been dropped and the right objective lens is loose in the body.

Also any suggestions on fixing the loose objective lens? I can just about get a single images and it pops loose. My best guess is the body is bent or possibly just the threads are messed up.

I have not torn into them. The lens was loose, and turning it reviled it will not stay tight.

They are also missing the eye cups. The eye pieces have threads so I am assuming they had eye cups.

Any idea what thread the eye cups would be? I could measure them and figure out the thread. Always easier to ask.

I have searched and these do not seem to be collectible binoculars. I just like old things and they would be good around the house for bird watching or possibly in the car. Kind of heavy so would not want to pack them very far.

  This is a comprehensive listing of Made in Japan binoculars made from after the war to about the mid-1960s. I didn't see the "AYERS" brand listed so it may be of a more recent vintage.
  
  Since it is not a well known brand, I don't think it worth the money to have it fixed. Parts may also very hard to come by for a brand that is essentially unknown. I suggest that you try super gluing the lens on and give it to some kids to play with.
