Budapest M35 8x56r Rifle Spring

One more try. I'm still looking for a firing pin spring for my rifle. I'm 95% certain the ammo is good but the firing pin is not hitting hard enough. I've been able to get it to fire hitting the same round twice and noticing the dent in the primer to be pretty light after the first attempt. I've been unable to find the spring at a local gun show, calling gunsmiths, etc. I just mic'd the spring and here's the measurements. Length is 7" (could originally have been a little longer), OD is 400 thousandths and ID is 315 thousandths. I have no idea how to figure out what the spring strength should be. If anyone can give me a source to get a replacement spring I'd appreciate it. Shimming is my next step.

  As I said, contact Wolff springs and give them your length and OD.

  I called Wolf springs and Dave is searching. In the mean time I figured out a way to shim the spring. Happened to find a piece of tubing that fit perfectly, cut about 3/4" piece and slid it on before the spring. Rifle fires fine now. Thanks again to all.
