german "t" post scope

i used to have an old redfield with a "german t Post" reticle. I really loved it but i can not seem to find anyone that makes one anymore.

anyone got a link for a good company that does?

  Leupold will still put one in for you if you send them your scope.
  They sell scopes with different "german post" styles. Hard to find
  dealers that carry them though. I too cherish my older Redfields
  with posts. Have a couple of 4x's and a 1-4 variable, but becoming
  harder and harder to find.

  There are several types of post and crosshair type reticles out there today. Most companies offer the Germain/European #4, but the horizontal cross does not touch the post. I know exactly what you are talking about, as I have an old Weaver 2.5-7, and a Redfield 1-4x with them in(the ones where the post actually goes just slightly thru the crosshair). I don't really care for them myself, but they do have teir merrit's in ceertain applications. You couldn't get me to part with them, as one belonged to my late father, and the other belong to his father, my late grandfather. Surprisingly they are still very clear.
  
  You might want to check out Trijicon's scope offrings, as they do have a real dandy of a reticle.

  I'm not sure what you're doing to search for this reticle but I found 6 scope makers who list this reticle in at least one model of their scope lines.

  Sightron
  Weaver
  Burris
  
  Go to the manufacturers website and select the reticle style you're looking for.

  I prefer flat topped tapered post. The horizontal crosshair is an improvement for anti cant reference.
  The bold post stands out better than crosshairs against woods backgrounds and aligns faster.
