Greiss was a gunmaker in Munich (Munchen) germany- hammer cape gun in 16 ga by ?? calibre- not much in way of proof marks to determine age- any help is appreciated- when most probably built? no visable damascus pattern on barrels, are they steel?

  Barrel markings may say something about the steel (stahl).
  If the rifle barrel is large bore, you can cut a cardboard pattern of the chamber and make a good guess on the caliber as those chambers are pretty far apart in size.
