Need a Benelli Expert - Cordoba vs Super Sport
Good Evening guys - Looking to buy another Benelli (currently own a SBE not the II) and was looking at my next purchase. I have started shooting a lot of skeet and was not sure if I wanted to buy a SBE II, Cordoba, or the Super Sport. Being over 50 now recoil is starting to be something I notice that I did not years ago. I have read a lot positive reviews on the Comfor-Tech stock system offered on these newer models and I also want to have a gun that if I decide to go dove hunting I can use the same gun that I shoot skeet with.
So I need some advice on the best shotgun between these three to buy. I plan on going with a black composite set up and will purchase a 28" barrel length. The gun I buy will stay with me until I pass it to one of my sons so I need to know the pros and cons of each. I know that the SBE II will shoot 3.5" shells where the other two will not. My shooting summary - I shoot about 1000 - 3000 rds a year for skeet and 200 - 400 rds a year at dove and quail combined.
I would love to save the money and put a Confor-Tech stock on my current SBE but I do not know if it would fit sight and bolt up properly.
Also - I will only be buying a BENELLI (our family owns 5 so far and we love all of them)
Thanks in advance for your feedback and suggestions.....Mark

Well I vote Super Sport. 0 -
+1 on Super Sport.
You should take a look at the Beretta Semi Auto's too.
I bought a Urika Gold Sport few months back and I love it. They are practically the same. (Beretta owns them)
I've shot the SBE I and a Montefeltro. I liked the Montefeltro better.0
