I'm not sure why my original topic was locked but I wanted to tell all who helped/tried to help thanks. I didn't have any luck at the gun show finding the firing pin spring. Plus I had already ordered the one for the M95 based on the suggestion. No problems that it probably won't work. I'll have a spring for the M95 now in case someone needs one. I'll keep looking. If someone can tell me why the original topic was locked I'd appreciate that too. It's probably something simple I don't understand about the forum. Hope all have a happy new year.

    rotcguns,

There is a 'Sticky' directly above this post about locked threads:

    http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=306339

All of the Moderators have dealt with hundreds of questions about this on the Ask the Experts forum so Bert took the time to write an explanation to save us all from reiterating the same information.

    Best.

I'm still thinking you could shim the spring by fitting a washer or two on the shaft. While you have it out take some measurements. Real gunsmith's usually have coil spring stock on hand, you might try local. But hay you got to end the year at a gunshow!
