Information Old Redfield 1 pc base marked F

I have a nice early 1 pc Redfield base, case colored windage screws, patent information on front side of base. Marked only F in large block letters on the side. Have exhausted all my old catalogs and listing and can't find letter F. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks DWSRPHTN@aol.com

  Need full-length picture of the bottom of the base to identify.

  Thanks for your reply, but a 1 pc. top mount base has not appreciably changed since Redfield first brought them out. This is a base for mounting 2 rings on a rifle. A picture won't help if you know what a 1 pc base looks like. Thanks Ammodoc

  I believe that's for a FN commercial Mauser receiver among others. I can't confirm that, because my reference material is on a toasted hard drive that won't give it up.[:(!]
