Ammo help

I just bought a new scope and ammo for my 270. When i went to sight my rifle, my ammo (270 winchester super x) was actually 30-06 ammo. I checked the box again and the box was 270 how could this happen? Also what would have happened if i tryed to shoot this? Thanks David

  1942 cal. 38
  
  Modern ammo minus the +p
  Are these long or short
  Any help please...

  Only ammo that will work, is the .38 Smith & Wesson. NOT THE 38 SPECIAL. Years ago similar ammo for Colt revolvers. Was sold under the .38 New Police name. Collectors item now, very little around.

  Brass and dies are available, bores tend to run big mine checked
  .360 148ge HBWC shoot well in mine
