17 WSM ??
Has any one heard of another manufacturer planning on coming out with a new model in 17 WSM? I want a repeater in that caliber but can't get myself to get the Savage. Thanks.

The only other "repeater" I've seen is an AR 15 type made by Franklin Arms - costs about $1,600.00 IIRC. The other 1 WSM I've seen is the single shot Winchester 1885.
I'm hoping there's more to pick from, timing of coming out with a new rimfire cartridge probably couldn't have been worse. Still, the Savage B has got to be the ugliest, cheapest looking rifle I've seen in a long time.0 -
Marlin XT makes the bolt in 17 with a nice laminate stock,,and whatever that copy from the accu-trigger,,looks good to me-[:)] 0 -

Volquartsen is making an autoloader for the 17WSM. Also I think CZ is playing with the idea. Call them and tell them you would like them too. Can't hurt. 0
