If you want the specific date, call customer service at Smith. Close as SCSW comes, is between 1955 & 1959.
That said. If the 35 is yours? Cherish it, It quite uncommon and desirable to collectors.0 -
Yes, it's mine now. I traded for it last week. It's about 90% with original grips. The frame seems smaller than my Model 17. The action has almost no play and it is extremely accurate. The quality and workmanship is as good as any Smith I've ever owned. Thanks for the approximate DOM. I had a feeling that it might have been a 50's gun. 0 -

Model 17 is a "K" frame. Early 35's like yours, are "I" frames. Few and far between nowadays.0
