I just bought 2 boxes of Barnes Varmint Grenade bullets 30 gr.Hp Fb .I thought I had all the reloading manuals I would ever need but none have data for a .22 Hornet with a 30 grain bullet.Appreciate any data you care to share

  My books start with 40 gr bullets. There are 4 loads for 30 gr bullets on line here http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/ using IMR 4227, Win 296, Hod H-110 and Hod Lil'gun

  I have been using 13.5 gr of Lil'Gun with a 35 gr Hornady Vmax in my 77/22 Hornet. That load groups better than anything else I've tried. I can think of no reason why a 30 gr bullet wouldn't work with that load.
