For the most part the best way t get a true value is with Lots of good quality pictures See The STICKY on how to attach pictures to your post sticky's are at the top of the page. The reason is we can't see what GOOD condition means to you . ALSO if you sign in to the auction side of GunBroker and look at marlin 336 SOLD items NOT what some people are asking but never get a bid on this will give you a valid Value. 0 -
In general, prices for 336s are all over the map, depending on caliber, condition, and year of manufacture.
For yours, as comparison on the auction site here, two separate .44 magnum 336s have sold in the last 90 days. These were made in 1964 and 1965, both were in at least very good condition, and sold for $640 and $800.
So sight unseen, for a used gun without original box or papers, I'd ballpark fair market value for yours at maybe $700, give or take a bit. That's probably a reasonable place to start the discussion, though you're not really going to know until you list it and see what happens.
Here's the two auctions for comparison:

As other comparison, new Rossi 92 leverguns in 44 magnum are running about $550. New Marlin 1894s in 44 mag about $650. Used examples of either, less.0
