Will other mags work with the Ciener 1911 kit?
i've seen some ads for Advantage Arms mags for 22 kits that say it will work with the Ciener and other 1911 22 conversion kits. Anyone know how well these work together? Anyone actually used them?

I don't know if this is of any user, but I got the conversion kit from Sig for my 1911 and the mags fit in the 1911 and they also work with the slide hold open stop. They also work well with my friends 1911 GSG 22lr. 0 -
Almost all will work.
The best I have found is the Kimber plastic mag. But I know the Marvel, Advantage, and Kimber will all work.0 -
This should be more like "will Ciener magazines work with other kits?" since Ciener mags were 15 rounders. 0 -

Advantage Arms makes/made? extended capacity magazines. For S & G, I bought 15 & 25 rounders. To see if they would work in my G 27 conversion unit. The 15 worked liked gangbusters. The 25 has to be loaded very carefully, to get it to work correctly. Both with high speed ammo only, (mini-mags/golden bullets, etc.)0 -

Ciener never went to jail. I saw him at the 2014 SHOT Show. The charges were dropped. Here is the true story:
