Witness 9mm

Seems my mag release requires just a few onnces of pressure to drop mag. Many times it ejects all by it self in my side holster.
How do I tighten it up!.

  I had a Witness sport that I shot in matches and never had a problem with the mag catch. On yours the holster must be pushing the button.
  Try another holster or stronger spring [;)]

  Sounds like the spring is to light, replace it with a stronger unit

  Mine has no such issue.
  
  Is the catch-hole in the magazine worn? Solution there is new magazine.
  
  Magazine release button [catch] itself OK? (IIRC they're pretty easy to remove from a Witness to inspect). Solution would be new button.
  
  New mag catch spring could fix this, if that's the problem.

  Note that "Witness" guns come in two general types, large frame and small frame. EAA currently only imports the large frame variant. The small frame gun is currently imported by Rock Island Armory under the name "MAPP".
  
  I'm not sure if the magazine catch button is the same between the two frame types. They probably are, but the magazines themselves definitely *ARE NOT*. Before you buy any parts here, just make sure they will work with your frame type.
