Will Ruger Mark II magazines function and feed reliably in a Mark I pistol?

  Nope,, button is on the wrong side. It can be changed over.

  Yes as stated just change the button to other side

  Just worked on some Ruger magazines last week. Changing the follower buttons. Had to take the baseplate off first. To get the follower down low enough, to get the button out. Also there were 2 different diameter buttons. The AMT Lighting clone I was working on, had to have the smaller diameter button on the magazine follower.
