300 blackout free float handguard
i have a 300 blackout with a 8 3/4 free float handguard that covers the gas block, i want to change the black one for a fde color, my question is with the low profile gas block hidden, will i still have to try and remove it ?

Probably this answer BUT make sure you've loosened/removed any locking devices So you don't twist the barrel nut and mis-align the gas tube.0 -
