model 12 ????
What say you about the butt stock on this model 12 in terms of factory wood?? My guess is not after research, but still curious. It looks like an old Hawkin pad so my mind is still thinking.

I don't see a great deal different from it and other well used M12s other than it has some checkering added to the pistol grip. I get a little nervous when the seller takes more time telling the rules of the deal than he does the deal. 0 -
even if it isn't original it's worth the $190 for a 'shooter' 0 -
That's what seemed odd to me. Not so much the checkering, but the shape of the butt stock.

It could still be the factory wood. However, some BUBBA has tried to make a half arsed English straight stock out of the pistol grip stock. Don't go into it for collectability.

No, it's not something I'd buy. However Winchester was known to make whatever the customer wanted, and I'd never seen anything like it and was just curious about it. Thanks Tim.
