Which ever one runs well, and shoots well in YOUR rifle. I can tell you what shoots best in mine, or someone else can tell you what works well in theirs. However, only your rifle, and you can determine which works best in yours.

You should try shopping locally as shipping ammo is expensive. Good shooting and inexpensive are almost mutually exclusive sort of like military intelligence or honest politician.

Your firearm might shoot much better with one brand or type of ammo, another exact same gun could work way better with some other ammo.

You need a quick twist for heavy bullets. Practical difference between a hollow point and a soft nose bullet at varmint velocities is negledable. The only good use for FMJ's to civilian is to a fur hunter. When surplus ammo was available and cheap I shot lots of it.

Generally speaking(based on about 1/2 dozen various brand AR's) PMC Bronze fmj has given better average accuracy than Federal "XM" fmj (or the other Federal/American Eagle generic fmj)-both 55 grain FMJBT.
Last weekend, I saw several ad for generic brass/boxer primed 55 grain FMJ around $320 + shipping. Compared to a few months back, that's pretty attractive.

    I have a Colt LE6920 M-4 semi automatic.

    I was looking at in a website at "223 Rem - 55 gr FMJ - Tula - 1000 Rounds" for $235 + 19.00 Shipping.

Anyone with a Colt LE6920 shoot this ammo before?

The Tula or Wolf is steel case.

I shoot it quite a bit through my AR-15 Plinker, which is mainly a loner for friends that want to try shooting an AR-15. Cycles very well and will put 5 shots almost touching at 100 yds from a bench rest (cause I can't hold anything close to that when I shoot). I'm not to concerned about wear from the cases since I can pay for the gun in savings of a few cases of ammo.

That being said, there is no way I would use it in my good RR AR-15 target gun, only my hand loaded ammo with brass cases (cause that gun cost 4 times what the Plinker did).

Like most things in comes down to "what" you want to do, your expectations, and the value of the gun you wish to risk.

BTW, I shoot a ton of Tula 7.62X39 in my cheapo SKS with no problems.

I shoot PMC fmj's in my old Mini 14; they are reasonably priced, accurate and in the neckbone of a couple moose, very effective.

My Colt 6920 has a 1:7 twist, shoots 69g-77g balls well - much better than 55g balls. Unless you have tried and are happy with 55g, I would use longer/heavier bullets.

I stay away from Tula. If you are inclined, read the article in Lucky Gunner where they compare ammunition from various manufacturers.

Bottom line was Tula was the least expensive, but wore out barrels fairly fast. It was also the dirtiest.

    Here is the test link:

    http://www.luckygunner.com/labs/brass-vs-steel-cased-ammo/

They also said that the money saved in ammo was more than the cost of a replacement barrel but since my barrels are standard I'd prefer not to replace them.
