You could try the factory, http://www.mossberg.com/products/rifles/mossberg-international-702-plinkster/702-plinkster

cut and pasted from the online PDF manual for the plinker
    http://www.mossberg.com/service/manuals

    Attention: Order Department
Please provide your name, address, city, state, zip, your daytime phone number
    and e-mail address. We#700;ll need Model #, Serial #, Gauge/Caliber, Finish, Part #
and Part Name. We have a $7.50 (U.S.) minimum parts order charge. We accept
most major credit cards, personal checks, money orders, and bank drafts.

The PDF only list the bolt as part #6 for sale to qualified gunsmiths.

    This why I don't own any mossy's.

If it were me I'd use the broken one as a pattern and make a new on out of real steel if I couldn't fix the broken one. Grade 8 bolts are a good place to start for round firing pins.

Mossberg "Plinkster" (model 702) is made in Brasil and is itself a copy of the Marlin 795.

Marlin 795 uses the same firing pin as the Marlin 60, so there is a reason why your Plinkster firing pin looks the same as a Marlin 60 pin. . .its a copy.

Reason you're having trouble finding a firing pin for your Plinkster is that broken firing pins are pretty common. . .used ones probably sell out quickly.

This outfit stocks a lot of Mossberg parts, and its probably worth a phone call to see if they have (or can get) one for you: https://www.havlinsales.com/22rifle.htm

As above, I'd call Mossberg; they can probably sell you one. If they won't sell you one, maybe they'd let you send them the gun's bolt and they'd be willing to fix/install one themselves. I can't speak from experience about Mossberg's customer service, but most of the American gun makers are pretty good about stuff like that. Its worth a phone call.

To answer the actual question, would a Marlin model 60 pin fit? I don't know. . .but given that the Plinkster is effectively a Marlin knockoff, it wouldn't surprise me if it did, or if it could be made to work with some fitting on your part.

I'd try to get an original first, but if you can't find a suitable replacement, or Mossberg won't help, Model 60 firing pins are readily available and cheap enough that it could be worth a shot to get one yourself and see. You can buy one on the auction site or elsewhere for under $10 (shipped).

    Great.
For completeness sake, how did you do it?

Did you use a model 60 pin, or something else?
