Remington 700 recall

What were the year or years that Remington had a recall on their model 700 rifles and what was the reason for the recall? Any info is appreciated.

  I heard they might have a recall on the model 700 rifles..I am a member of remington's online website but am having trouble with it..Have any of you guys heard anything about this?????

  Don't know what year but had to do with and safety.
  trigger mostly because BUBBA tried to adjust trigger pull and engagement

  Not sure of the years, but there were several recalls. The very first one was to replace the safety, so the bolt was not locked down. In the recent past there have been no less than three that I know of, centering around new supposedly lawyer proof triggers.
