Do these reliably cycle target loads?

A while back I was shopping for a defensive shotgun and the 11-87 was one that I was looking at. It got crossed off the 'maybe' lst after reading mumerous reports of it not cycling lighter loads reliably. I wound up with an M2 and it has been 100% with any load I put in it. 0 -
Anything under an 1 1/8 of shot was iffy in the one that I own. 0 -
a lot of my duck hunting buddies with 11-87s say the same thing. heavy loads or nothing... 0
