Thoughts on this gun #2
Thanks for the info fellas. I really want another 41, but I really want one with a box. I threw the dog a bone, but plan on getting out bid. I'm glad to see that Bruce was outbid before I did it......I figured out bidding a Moderator would be worse than throwing away a box from a new gun[;)]

NIB 41's are a lot harder to find than 357's or 44's. I think Elmer thought it was better long range round than the 44. When I was shooting a lot I never had issues with the 44 on milk jugs at 200 yards handheld. Laying on the ground with a leather chap on a leg I could engage larger targets at longer distances. A rifle with a flatter trajectory would be a lot more practical. 0 -

Not necessarily looking for a NIB model 57 since I have a perfect 657 w/box. It's just the older ones are awesome.0 -

Yes they are, I have 6" no dash 57 that I think very highly of.
