I purchased a gun at auction last night Combo 20Ga 76mm 3inch mag over 222 rifle the top of the rib has FLAIG'S. very unusual action Top break
lever to the right opens the action top break lever to the left this cocks the hammer top break lever to the left and pushing the trigger forward at same time turns trigger into a SET trigger for the rifle barrel. I know Flaigs did not make this gun does anyone know who did and ballpark value at 90+% condition ThanksKarl

Check the underside of barrel and watertable for proof marks. Also it should have country of origin markings. If none of the above, are on the gun? Likely it was made here in the States.

U & O combo guns have never been real popular on this side of the pond. Other than the Stevens/Savages. Years ago I did run across a lever action one, call a Stag. Made in Arizona, of all places.

Made by Voere in Kufstein, Austria. Flaig's imported and sold them in the late 60's. Very well made, mono block barrels, and integral scope mount. Karl, once cocked, it's locked shut until you fire it, or de-cock it.

Thanks All I could find some proof marks but no date like many german guns of country built but sort of reminded me of German quality and general form. The set trigger and top leaver Opening / Cocking /De Cocking / Set TRIGGER arangement is ingenious going to make someone a great TURKEY gun. I might stick with my Valmet model 412
This forum site is a winner as sorce of information[^]
