Winchester 100 stock fit a Winchester 88??

Will a Winchester 100 post 64 fit a Winchester 88 post 64?? I hate to ask but a work buddy says it should but my guess is no. Do I buy the coffee Monday or dose he?? When I think about it, I seem to remember reading that they do swap stocks.

  Yes and no. The break off point for the early vs late model 88 is 82900.
