Is there a correlation between Assy no's and S/N or D.O.M on S&W revolvers?

  None has been shown.
  
  We never have a "DOM" for Smiths, the best that we have is the "YOM". And, we have no knowledge of how Smith uses AN's.

  None at all.
  Assembly numbers keep the parts together going down the line so they match at the end.
