  Thanks for your reply. I have gone through every Browning parts schematic, and I can't find a part that matches this one. Are you sure it's for a Browning hi-power?

  I can see a part that resembles the part I'm questioning. However, when I look at the Hi-power schematic from Numrich it shows each end of this part having a screw going into it. My part doesn't have any screw holes, and only one end is slotted for a screwdriver. It's confusing!
